We Don’t Always Have Every Book on Hand, But We Can Get It for You (FREE)
Did you know that if the book, audiobook, or research material you want isn’t available at Petersburg Public Library, we can get it for you through Interlibrary Loan (ILL)? That’s right — access millions of resources from libraries across the country, at no cost to you.
How Interlibrary Loans Work
- Request Your Item: Ask a librarian at the Petersburg Public Library
- We Find It: Our staff searches partner libraries nationwide to locate the item.
- Pick It Up: When it arrives (within 1-2 weeks), you’ll be notified and can pick it up at the library.
- Read & Return: Enjoy the item and return it by the due date, just like any other library material.
Why you should Try Interlibrary Loans?
- Expand Your Options: Get books, articles, and media not available in our collection.
- Save Money: Borrow instead of buying costly or hard-to-find materials.
- Support Your Learning: Perfect for students, researchers, or anyone pursuing a personal project.
